Compliance support for EU-bound packaging

Packaging sold into the European Union has to stand up to scrutiny on composition, recyclability and traceability. We build the packaging-side evidence into the job so your compliance file is complete at the moment of shipment.

In short

Every Grexprint run can ship with EU PPWR compliance documentation, material composition verification and batch-level traceability records. They support your own conformity assessment; legal responsibility for placing the packaging on the EU market stays with the brand owner or importer.

Deliverable

What ships with your packaging

  • EU PPWR supporting documentation — a structured dossier covering the packaging elements of Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste, prepared per item type.
  • Material composition verification — checks recorded for boards, papers, coatings and finishes used in the run.
  • Batch traceability records — each delivered quantity linked to its production batch, plate reference and finishing steps.
  • Change control — notification when a substrate or finish specification changes between runs.

Process

How documentation is produced

  1. Materials are selected for the job and their specifications recorded.
  2. Composition is verified against supplier declarations and test evidence where applicable.
  3. Production is planned on the shared-plate model with a batch identifier assigned before printing.
  4. Batch records capturing quantities, materials and finishing steps are compiled after packing.
  5. The documentation set is issued with the shipment or on request from our records.

PPWR documentation is prepared to support your own compliance work. Final responsibility for placing packaging on the EU market remains with the brand owner, importer or authorised representative.
